Klamath County Air Quality

Call before you burn!

Keno Fire Department no longer issues burn permits  for community members. We now only require you to call before you burn. Call 541-882-BURN (2876) or check on the Klamath County Air Quality website. There is no need to call the Keno Fire Department to let us know that you are burning.

The burn advisories are either RED, YELLOW or GREEN.

RED - No burning county wide.

                                                    YELLOW - Only certified wood or gas burning stoves permitted.

          GREEN - Open burning county wide.
