The Mobile Command Unit was an excellent resource during the flooding in Vernonia, Oregon in early December, 2007. The Oregon State Fire Marshal's Red Team was deployed to the incident and used the MCU in a number of ways, including for communications, planning, and GIS support.

The Mobile Command Unit was used at the Scott Mountain Fire in late August, 2010 near McKenzie Bridge, Oregon. The Pacific Northwest Type 1 Incident Management Team 3 (PNW3) was managing the incident and used the MCU for GIS, copy and internet services, and also as a meeting space and a venue for presentations to fire personnel. |
